About your trip

Understanding the subtle body gives us a pathway to heal, grow, and develop a deep alignment with Source. It’s a way to feel into what’s been held onto, to work with what’s been stuck, and to begin unwinding the patterns that keep us disconnected from our true nature.

The chakra system offers a map that can help us understand and process our emotions, shift long-held narratives, and move the energy that has stagnated or become rigid over time.

For over 30 years, I’ve been immersed in the study of trauma, shadow work, energy anatomy, and the chakra system, and how all of it lives inside the body. It’s influenced not only how I understand healing, but how I teach, listen, and sit with what is real in my own body and life. There’s a bridge here between the practical and the unseen, between the nervous system and the Spirit, and when we begin to understand that relationship, something within us can open profoundly and lead us back home to ourselves.

This retreat is an invitation into that opening, and nothing would bring me more joy than to facilitate that journey for you.

Over six days, please join me in the beautiful mountains of Topanga Canyon, where we’ll explore a deep, layered embodied process that brings together the chakra system, yoga philosophy, science, and mysticism to understand how our experiences shape us physically, emotionally, and psychologically.

During our time together, we will use yoga asana, breathwork, meditation, mantra, reflection, guided inquiry, and ritual to explore the mind/body connection, leading us to understand where unprocessed emotions may linger, where suppressed energy may create tension, reactivity, or disconnection from the Self, and how to develop a deeper, more integrated relationship with Spirit.

On this retreat, we will explore:

  • Shadow work, the ego, and the kleshas

  • Trauma, the brain, and the nervous system

  • Yoga asana and self-regulation practices

  • The mind-body connection

  • The nadis, koshas, and chakra system

  • Asana, pranayama, and ritual

You will be supported to:

  • Honor the full complexity of your human experience

  • Move toward your emotions with understanding and compassion

  • Interrupt patterns of avoidance, anxiety, and self-sabotage

  • Shift limiting beliefs and internal narratives

  • Cultivate emotional steadiness and self-acceptance

  • Deepen your connection to the Divine

This retreat will be an opportunity to honor your full humanity: the parts that are clear and grounded, and the parts that feel messy, reactive, or unresolved.

Together, we will learn how to stay with all that complexity without shutting down or checking out, and create more space for compassion and self-love, and a deeper relationship with the Sacred.

All of this deep work will unfold in the wilds of Topanga Canyon, my hometown, held by the land's raw beauty. We’ll be supported by nourishing plant-based meals, fresh ocean air, time spent in nature, self–care practices, and a group of like-minded people who are also willing to do their deep inner work and engage in the mystery of Spirit.

I hope you will join me on this embodied, heart-centered, and magick-filled journey. My intention is to support you and create an environment that eases your body, clears your mind, inspires your soul, and helps you connect to your deepest Self.

I’m looking forward to doing this work together.

Things to know

📍 Address to the property will be given the week before the retreat starts.

👉 Substance-Free Retreat
To create a peaceful, focused environment for everyone, we kindly ask that all participants refrain from using substances. This includes alcohol, cigarettes, smoking materials, and illicit drugs. We maintain a substance-free environment to help support everyone’s well-being. If this request is not respected, we reserve the right to ask participants to leave the retreat without a refund. Prescription medications are exempt from this policy. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

👉 Like Adult Summer Camp – We’re All in This Together!
This is a cozy, communal retreat, not a traditional retreat center. The property is a private home on 9 beautiful acres with "glamping" style cabins and rooms. All rooms share bathrooms, and meals will be served "family style." We’ll all pitch in by rinsing our dishes and helping the chef with meal cleanup. It’s all about sharing and supporting each other—like one big family!

👉 Close Shared Spaces
This retreat is very communal, with shared bedrooms and bathrooms in most accommodations.

Getting to Topanga

Getting to the Property…

  • The address will be provided the week before the retreat starts.

  • LAX is approximately 37 miles from the property (with current road closures).

  • Burbank Airport is about 27 miles from the property.

The drive from either airport can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic. This is Los Angeles, so be prepared for potential delays at any time of day. Plan accordingly.

While a car can be useful during your stay in Topanga, it’s not essential. There are always people willing to carpool for hikes or trips into town, and many retreat participants arrange airport rides via our Facebook group. It’s a great way to meet others!

If you’d like more flexibility in your travel, feel free to rent a car. There’s plenty of parking available on the property.

Cabs, Lyft, and Uber are all options for getting to the retreat.

Arrival Time: Please plan to arrive no earlier than 3:00pm, as requested by the property manager. If you arrive early, Topanga has plenty of things to do, and the property is only a 10-minute drive from the main town. Once registered, you'll receive a digital packet with things to do in the area.

If you're not renting a car, it’s better to spend time in Santa Monica, Venice, or the Valley (depending on your arrival location), rather than trying to get a cab, Uber, or Lyft from inside Topanga Canyon, as it can be challenging unless arranged in advance.

If you have any questions about your travel plans, feel free to email Jessica at jessica@seanecorn.com.

On Your Way Home… Expect longer drive times when heading to the airport, so we recommend giving yourself at least 1-2 hours for travel, especially with the road closures. If you're renting a car, be sure to leave a little extra time.

If you're booking a ride to the airport, it's best to arrange it beforehand, as many services don't pick up in the area. Canyon Car Service is a popular option.

The last class ends at 11:00am on Sunday, with brunch at 11:30am, and check-out at 12:00pm.
